Even during the summer it can rain here in the sunny south west occasionally so we suggest you bring some form of rain proofs and water proof footwear. A light jacket is also recommended as sometimes a sea breeze can be cool.
Should you forget to bring such clothing we have shops in Cahersiveen town where you can buy suitable clothing.
We do, however, also suggest you bring some sun tan lotion factor 25 or above as even on a dull day you can get burnt from the sun or the wind and we do not want you looking silly in the pub that night with a red face or worse, sick with sun stroke (yes it can happen ).
If you are out for a full day we recommend you bring a packet lunch and something cold to drink, It's a long day and the fresh sea air gives you an appetite.
Tea and coffee is supplied on board free of charge.
